Success …. Not the same for everyone !!!
Why the meaning of success is not the same for everyone? Why everyone has a different meaning to them when it comes to success.
For me, Success is time-bound. I feel successful when I reach on time & I reach. Success is for me when I want to do something & I do it on time. Success for me is if I want to pay my credit bill on time even when I am damn busy or even when I am facing a tough financial situation. For me, success is when I reach home on time because my son has asked me to do so to fulfil my promise…
For a businessman, procuring a new business or a contract or receiving payments on time may be a success. But for an employee, completing his task on time may be a Success.
For Teacher, completing his/her subject well before exams and students passing with good marks will be a success for him/her.
For someone, success maybe, if he/she can make sure no one goes to sleep with hunger.
Success for everyone is short-lived. Once it is achieved. It’s gone forever. After that, new tasks, new goals, new targets will decide your next success. & It’s a never-ending process.
If we want to enjoy our life, we should enjoy it, or I would rather say, we should celebrate every little success. When you promise to yourself or someone else …and you fulfil your promise then it’s a success. Enjoy it!!!
Do not fall into a trap of setting up long term goals and wait forever to celebrate your success and keep punishing yourself for being in the perception of unsuccessful.
